I’m available for consultations with photographers and illustrators. Whether you’re emerging or established, my goal is to help you set appropriate goals to work towards your success, and then take actionable steps in realizing those goals. I’ve commissioned, directed, and helped develop the careers of dozens upon dozens of artists in the last couple of decades (check out my Client List.) Within fine art, editorial, and commercial sectors alike, I’ve reviewed hundreds of portfolios, helped launch careers, and given advice that changed trajectories. I would like to do the same for you.
Why work with me? I tell it like it is, in the nicest way possible of course. Your time, energy, and money are valuable; you don’t need to be tiptoed around. You want to know what works, what doesn’t, and where things are going. While I’m not a fortune teller, it is my job to not only keep up with trends in photography (yes, there are trends), but to also both predict and evolve with the future. And I’ve been there. I’ve been a gallery assistant, curator, photo assistant, digital tech, studio manager, retoucher, social media manager, photographer, photo editor, photo art director, line producer, art producer, and art buyer. I’ve seen some things. Let me pass some of this knowledge onto you.

MARKETING PLAN
Are your social media channels aligned with your portfolio and website? Are you doing all the damn thangs? PORTFOLIO REVIEW + FEEDBACK
What is working and what isn’t? Is your book/website taking you in the direction you want your work to be going in? Is your website still serving your portfolios? I can help offer objective feedback based on what type of clients you’d like to attract.
$175 for 1 hour with me
BOOK EDITING + SEQUENCING
Could your book be stronger? Are there images not doing the overall body of work justice? How is the division of subject matter suiting the viewer? Who is the audience you are trying to reach? What are you trying to say? This service involves in-depth editing and sequencing of your archives. Send me 1000 images and we go to town.
$350 for 2 hours with me // $500 for 3 hours with me
BUSINESS + INDUSTRY ADVICE
Are you just starting out? Mid-career looking to step out of your box and shape-shift into a new genre? Or established but wanting to transition from editorial to commercial clients? What types of jobs do you want to be getting vs are already getting? Where can you strengthen your work + your presence? Are you not sure what to do with your current rates? Do you just want some intel and an inside scoop on what the hell is going on to navigate the photo world? I gotchu. Time to be assessed based on needs.
$150 per hour billed as used
AGENTING + BIDDING
For select clients only. Please get in touch to see if we are a good fit.
Do you need help estimating a commercial project? I will put together an estimate and act as your agent during the bidding process. I will help in curating/editing any requested treatments, attend any creative calls, and provide feedback along the way. I can also help crew up, matching you up with appropriate line production support.
$25% of fees only if the job is awarded
*Should you only require estimate creation, this service will be charged at $175 per hour.
SUSTAINABILITY + DEI
Are you running your business true to your values? Have you defined your core values and are you willing to stand behind them? What can you do better with regards to equity, diversity, inclusion, and sustainability? Would you like to audit the carbon footprint of your office, your studio, your shoots, and/or your overall business? Would you like to run only carbon neutral productions that are as close to net zero waste as possible? Would you like resources to diversify your crews? You have absolutely come to the right place. We will contain a safe space to have courageous conversations about where you are and where you would like to do better.
$1500 for 5 hours with me over 4 months
